The Planning Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 in the George Howard Building, Columbia/Ellicott Room, Ellicott City, Maryland for a 12.77 acre property located in the Fifth Election District, on the east side of Little Patuxent Parkway between Sterrett Place and Wincopin Circle in Columbia, MD. The petition, filed under Section 125.0.E.4 of the Howard County Zoning Regulations, seeks an amendment to final development plan, FDP-DC-L-2A, Downtown Columbia, Lakefront Neighborhood, Phase 1 for Downtown Revitalization that proposes 775 residential dwelling units, and 85,000 SF of net new retail on property zoned NT-DMUA on land being developed pursuant to the Downtown Columbia Revitalization Regulations. In addition, filed under Section 125.0.A.h.4 of the Howard County Zoning Regulations, the petition seeks to increase the maximum number of residential units permitted in Phase One of the Downtown Columbia Revitalization Phasing Chart.

The Planning Board typically meets the first and third Thursday of each month beginning at 7:00 pm in the Banneker Room of the George Howard Building (3430 Court House Drive, Ellicott City, MD 21043). Alternative dates may be scheduled at the discretion of the Board. Meeting agendas and all supplemental materials are posted to the Planning Board website two (2) weeks in advance of the meeting date.
