Affordable Housing Working Group Report Executive Order

An Affordable Housing Working Group was appointed by the County Executive via EO-2024-08. This 13-member working group, appointed by the County Executive in consultation with the County Council, diligently met five times from July 2024 to February 2025 to develop these comprehensive recommendations. The 18-page report reflects the culmination of their efforts and includes analyses, insights, and proposed strategies to enhance housing affordability in Howard County.  The group provided recommendations regarding the use of affordable housing allocations outlined in the County’s Adequate Public Facilities Ordinance (APFO) housing unit allocation chart.

Development Activity
