Find your District / Precinct and Polling Place

If your voter registration is up-to-date, you can refer to your Voter Notification Card for your district/precinct number and polling place or use the voter lookup website.

If you have moved and have not updated your voter registration information, enter your new address in the online Polling Place Lookup tool.

You can also view and print a table listing of election day polling locations for the 2024 Presidential Primary Election in Howard County.

Use Howard County's online polling place locator to identify your polling place as well as your congressional, legislative and councilmanic districts. Polling places are open from 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM on election day.

Ballot Proofs for 2024 Presidential General Election

Previews of the ballot proofs for the 2024 Presidential General Election are available. 

In order to find the ballot proof you will be provided for the 2024 Presidential General Election, you need to know your district/precinct. If you are not sure of your polling place, you can use the voter registration look-up tool on the website for the State Board of Elections (SBE). After locating your registration, review your registration information to make sure it is correct. Click on "My Voting Districts" which will open showing your district information. On the first line for "Precinct" you will see a five-digit number; the first two digits are your District, the last three digits are your Precinct.

Once you know your District/Precinct, go to the 2024 General Election Proofing Ballots for Howard County. In the upper-right hand corner of the first page of each ballot, you will see a designation for the ballot style (required for specific combinations of Congressional, Legislative, and Council district combinations), and immediately below that is the district/precinct identification. Scroll through the ballots until you find your combination of party affiliation and district/precinct. That will be a proof of the ballot you will use to cast your vote.
