Verde II

Moderate Income Housing Units (MIHU) meet a requirement (see Section 13.405 of the Howard County Code by clicking this link - MuniCode) that a portion of newly constructed houses and apartments be made affordable for income eligible residents. This is done by reducing the cost of homes for sale and reducing the rent in participating communities. MIHUs are interspersed throughout each rental community and residents enjoy all the amenities of the community life.

MIHU Renters Information Workshops

Due to COVID-19 safety precautions, until further notice, the MIHU Renter’s Information workshops are CANCELLED. For your convenience we have included a PowerPoint presentation and frequently asked questions. If you have questions, please contact the rental communities directly.
