First Alarm Fire Camp

The St. Florian's Brigade will hold a two-day camp for applicants who are interested in learning more about the fire service and what it takes to become a firefighter. The 1st Alarm Fire Camp will be held at the James N. Robey Public Safety Training Center, 2200 Scott Wheeler Drive in Marriottsville. This fun and exciting weekend will focus on team building, a burn demo, CPR training, obstacle courses, running emergency scenarios, and much more! Additionally, the program empowers campers with life skills and professional guidance that encourages them to pursue a career in public safety.

Dates and hours for the camp are as follows:

Camp Dates: 

July 10, 2021, 8 am to 5 pm

July 17, 2021, 8 am to 5 pm

Ages: 8 - 14

**Applications will be accepted on a first come, first-served basis. There is a preference for first timers and Howard County residents. Limited to 30 spots for each session.**
