Commission for Veterans and Military Families


To assure that their issues are addressed effectively and efficiently.
Number of Members: 13
Nine shall be Veterans, one or more of whom shall have a service-connected disability and three of whom shall be members of at least one Veteran’s Organization (see Bill 3-2011). Two shall be immediate family member of veteran or person engaged in active-duty service or reserve at time of appointment. Two shall work or volunteer for organizations that serve veterans or their families.

The commission meets monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7pm with the exception of July and August.

December 7, 2017 – our general meeting will take place from 6:30-7pm at The Frisco TapHouse,  6695 Dobbin Road Columbia, MD, 21045. The brief meeting will be followed by a private holiday social.
