Commission for Veterans and Military Families

Function:

To assure that their issues are addressed effectively and efficiently.
Number of Members: 13
Nine shall be Veterans, one or more of whom shall have a service-connected disability and three of whom shall be members of at least one Veteran’s Organization (see Bill 3-2011). Two shall be immediate family member of veteran or person engaged in active-duty service or reserve at time of appointment. Two shall work or volunteer for organizations that serve veterans or their families.

Meetings:
The commission meets monthly on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7pm with the exception of July and August.
