For the purpose of altering the terms of the members of the Howard County Board of Education; establishing the Howard County Board of Education Compensation Commission; and generally relating to the terms of members of the Howard County Board of Education and to the Howard County Board of Education Compensation Commission.
Howard County – Public Campaign Financing – Board of Education

For the purpose of authorizing the governing body of Howard County to establish a system of public campaign financing for members of the county board of education; and generally relating to public campaign financing in Howard County.
Howard County – Common Ownership Communities – Funding of Reserve Accounts and Preparation of Funding Plans

FOR the purpose of requiring that the annual budget of a cooperative housing corporation, a residential condominium, or a homeowners association in Howard County include certain funds; requiring that certain funds for the reserve account of a cooperative housing corporation, a residential condominium, or a homeowners association in Howard County be deposited by a certain day each fiscal year; requiring a cooperative housing corporation, a residential condominium, or a homeowners association in Howard County to obtain a certain recommended reserve funding level within a certain number of fiscal years; requiring that certain updated reserve studies in Howard County be prepared by a certain person; requiring a residential condominium or a homeowners association in Howard County to review the reserve study annually for accuracy; requiring the governing body of a cooperative housing corporation, a residential condominium, or a homeowners association in Howard County to prepare a certain funding plan subject to certain requirements; and generally relating to reserve studies and annual budgets of cooperative housing corporations, condominiums, and homeowners associations in Howard County.
Howard County – Ambient Air Quality Control – Permit Applications, Permit Holders, and Property Tax Credit

For the purpose of requiring the Department of the Environment to provide for an informational meeting on certain applications for certain permits to engage in activities located in Howard County; requiring Howard County, if a certain request is made, to hold a public meeting before verifying that a certain proposal or source satisfies zoning and land use requirements; requiring certain holders of a permit to engage in certain activities in Howard County to provide annual emissions reports to certain community associations; authorizing the governing body of Howard County to grant, by law, a property tax credit against the county property tax imposed on owner–occupied residential real property that is located within a certain distance of a site for which certain permits or registrations have been issued; and generally relating to ambient air quality control in Howard County.

Howard County Superintendent – Contract – Required Provisions

For the purpose of requiring that a certain contract executed between the Howard County Board of Education and the Howard County Superintendent include certain provisions that provide for the maximum cash settlement the superintendent may receive on termination of the contract and the continuance of health benefits coverage for a certain period of time after termination of the contract; and generally relating to the contract for the Howard County Superintendent.

Howard County – Department of Planning and Zoning – Parking Space Requirements for New Construction

Columbia Association – Lease Requirements and Governing Documents

For the purpose of requiring a written lease for certain residential or commercial real property in Howard County to include information on the annual charge assessed by the Columbia Association and a description of certain rights and privileges under certain circumstances; requiring a landlord to provide a tenant with a copy of certain covenants and governing documents under certain circumstances; and generally relating to certain residential and commercial rental property leases in Howard County.
Howard County – Study on Detecting Deadly Weapons in Public Middle and High Schools
