Risk Management Resources

Due to ongoing concerns of COVID-19 the Office of Risk Management is working remotely. We can be reached by email and phone at the addresses and extensions listed below:

 

Voicemail messages are checked remotely Monday-Friday excluding County Observed Holidays.

We will handle entry of products into the system. With increased telework and procurement of cleaners and disinfectants we realize that department level entry may be difficult.

Aetna Open Access and PPO plans:

The Aetna plans require no cost share for COVID-19 testing or treatment.  COVID-19 testing either in-network or out of network will be covered at 100%. In addition, the health care provider visit, urgent care visit, or emergency room visit that resulted in the request for the test will be covered at 100% as well.  Please click the links below for more details on Aetna COVID 19 benefits and information.

Aetna Teledoc telemedicine:

Telemedicine and virtual care services give patients access to health care providers without having to leave home and, therefore, limit close contact with people who are sick. In response to COVID-19, any covered telemedicine visit copays are waived until June 4, 2020.

Kaiser HMO:

For all Kaiser Permanente plans, cost sharing (deductibles, copayments and coinsurance) will be reduced to zero dollars ($0.00) for medically necessary screening and testing for COVID-19 including the visit, associated lab testing, and radiology services in a plan hospital, emergency or urgent care setting, or medical office. This cost sharing reduction will apply to all Kaiser Permanente and other plan (participating) providers. If a member is diagnosed with COVID-19, all treatment including but not limited to hospital, transportation and pharmacy services will be covered in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the coverage document for the member’s health plan.
