Howard County Families: Experience a day of healing with community discussions, prenatal massages, and free lunch! Bring your village!

Howard County families are invited to a special event celebrating the strength, resilience, and sacredness of Black motherhood.

The Howard County Health Department, in partnership with the Local Health Improvement Coaltion, is pleased to host Rooted in Justice & Joy — 10th Anniversary Black Maternal Health Week Event as part of the 2026 Black Maternal Health Week observance. This celebration aims to uplift Black mothers and the community through support, empowerment, and education.

Join this powerful conversation and learn how you can be involved in advocacy. You also will have the chance to participate in raffle prizes, and giveaways.
