ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Columbia was named the second Happiest City in America for 2022 by WalletHub, the personal finance outlet. WalletHub compared 182 of the largest cities — including the 150 most populated U.S. cities, plus at least two of the most populated cities in each state — across three key dimensions: emotional & physical well-being, income & employment and community & environment. Columbia was listed 8th Happiest City in 2021.
This recognition speaks to our concerted efforts to improve the quality of life for all our residents here in Howard County.
