Marshall is currently in custody in New York and will return to Maryland as extradition laws dictate. He is facing charges in Howard County of first-degree murder and firearms offenses.

A Howard County construction project to install a sidewalk and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliant ramps along the south side of Frederick Road from Pierce Drive to Font Hill Road in Ellicott City, is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, June 16th. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late August. 

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today launched the new small-business Savage Mill Bucks program, which offers visitors to Savage Mill a $10 voucher to use at one of the more than 70 small businesses located at Savage Mill this summer.

Phase one of a Howard County construction project to rehabilitate 986 linear feet of sewer pipe and five manholes behind 4602 South Leisure Court and neighboring properties in Ellicott City, near the Red Hill Branch, has begun. Weather permitting, this project phase is expected to be completed by late July. 

Alexander Molina Rodriguez, 25, of Gwynn Oak, is wanted for first-degree murder and firearm violations.

A Howard County construction project to install speed humps on Hanover Road from Old Washington Road in Elkridge to Anderson Avenue in Hanover, and Furnace Avenue from Main Street to Race Road in Elkridge, is anticipated to begin on or about Monday, June 23rd. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed by late July 2025.

An adult civilian was transported to the hospital with serious burn injuries after a building fire in Jessup.
