Howard County Government offices and more will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday. The County's holiday "slide" schedule will be in effect for the end of the week as there will be no Thursday curbside trash, recycling, yard trim, and food scraps collections.

Little Patuxent River Sewer Stabilization Project Underway
A Howard County construction project to stabilize a 24-inch exposed sewer interceptor across the Little Patuxent River near its union with the Lake Elkhorn Tributary and behind 6926 Allview Drive in Columbia, has begun. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late February 2026.
