Henryton Road Bridge Repair Project to Begin in Marriottsville
A Howard County construction project to perform preventative bridge maintenance and improvements at 1355 Henryton Road over the Patapsco River Tributary in Marriottsville, is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, June 1st. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid-August 2026.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today announced Howard County Government, in partnership with the Community Action Council of Howard County (CAC), will launch Phase Two of its transformative Guaranteed Basic Income (GBI) pilot program on July 1, 2026. With Phase Two, the County and CAC aim to establish a new cohort of participants to secure their self-sufficiency and establish a household contingency/reserve fund.
