Coaches, managers, league officials, commissioners and even behind-the-scenes contributors closely identified with community recreational sports can be nominated. In addition, nominees must be either residents of Howard County or made their community sports contributions primarily in Howard County.
Each year, our Community Sports Hall of Fame allows us the opportunity to celebrate the individuals who have shaped our community through sports, whether on the field, on the sidelines, or behind the scenes. These are the coaches, athletes, volunteers, and leaders whose dedication has strengthened inspired our youth to go the distance, push themselves, have fun, and be the best they can be. I encourage residents and community members to consider nominating that special individual who has made a lasting impact on recreational sports in Howard County so we can recognize their achievements and preserve their legacy for years to come.
