Young Women's Health Focus Group
Your voice matters!
The Howard County Health Department wants to hear directly from teen girls and young women about the health topics that matter most to you.
Your input will help guide future programs and services that support the health and well-being of women throughout Howard County. Join us for open and supportive conversations about:
- Mental health and managing stress
- Relationships, self-confidence, and self-care
- Finding trustworthy health information online
- Pregnancy, parenting, and support for young families
- School, social pressures, and everyday challenges
- Access to healthcare and community resources
Gift Card Incentive
Participants will receive a $50 gift card as a thank-you for attending a Women’s Health Focus Group session.
Please Note
Participants must attend in-person to receive the gift cards.
Who Should Attend
Howard County residents who are:
- Young women and young adults of color
- Ages 16–24
- Pregnant or parenting young adults
- Young caregivers

Due to the sensitive nature of the topics and discussions, this event is open only to women who live in Howard County.
