Howard County Issues a Heat Alert in Response to High Temperatures
In response to high temperatures forecast by the National Weather Service, the Howard County Health Department has issued a heat alert for Howard County. The alert has been issued for Thursday, August 1 and Friday, August 2 from 12:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with high temperatures expected to be in the mid-to-high 90s

New Howard County Official County Flag Design Submissions Posted
Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today announced that the Howard County Flag Commission has published design submissions received for a new official county flag. The Commission will host a public hearing on Monday, September 30th at 6:00 p.m. to receive community input on the designs received.
