ELLICOTT CITY – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball will be presented with the report prepared by his Transition Team, which was chaired by Sen. Guy Guzzone and included former County Executive Ken Ulman on its steering committee. The Team was tasked with studying and evaluating the operational areas of the Howard County government, with a focus on innovative opportunities to move the County forward. Comprised of more than 100 talented and forward-thinking leaders, the steering committee and 10 subcommittees developed recommendations in the following areas: Administration, Citizen Services, Economic Development, Education, Environment, Healthcare, Housing, Planning/Zoning Permits, Public Safety, and Public Works.
