ELLICOTT CITY – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball and members of the County Council will join Visit Howard County and local restauranteurs to kickoff Winter Restaurant Weeks, which will run from January 21 through February 4.  More than 30 restaurants are participating with special fixed-price, multi-course, chef’s menus.  This season, a new drawing will offer diners the opportunity to win restaurant gift certificates by texting.

To highlight Howard County’s culinary scene, especially during the federal government shutdown, which is impacting local restaurants.  New restaurants including Mad Chef Kitchen & Bar, Cured | 18th & 21st, Food Plenty, Lupa Roman Trattoria, and The Walrus Oyster and Ale House, are bringing exciting new life to the Howard County food scene.
