The Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF) was established through Maryland’s Cannabis Reform Act of 2023 and is funded by 35% of the state’s adult-use cannabis tax revenue to help address the long-term harms caused by the disproportionate enforcement of past cannabis laws, particularly in Black and Brown communities.

Homeless Management Information Systems (HMIS)  tracks and provides information on homelessness in Howard County.  

The Traffic Engineering Division is responsible for traffic signals, streetlight installation, new street signs, markings and traffic calming.
