Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today signed an Executive Order creating the Housing Opportunities Trust Fund Advisory Committee to assist in reviewing funding applications and making recommendations on allocations from the County’s transformational Housing Opportunities Trust Fund (HOTF).

A Howard County construction project to replace the existing eight-inch water main along Mayfield Avenue from Grassy Garth to Homeplace Lane in Elkridge, is expected to begin on or about Monday, April 17th. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late June 2023.

The funds will be used to expand and renovate existing Applications and Research Laboratory facility to allow more students to participate in programs and meet Career and Technical Education requirements of the Blueprint for Maryland’s Future.
