Residents can still provide testimony online

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball, in coordination with the Howard County Health Department, has canceled the Residents' Budget Hearing that was planned for Thursday, March 12th. Testimony can still be provided online.

“We are canceling the Budget Hearing out of an abundance of caution given recent progression of COVID-19. We want to first and foremost ensure the safety of our community and vulnerable populations,” said Ball. “We still want to hear from all our residents and encourage everyone to provide online testimony.”

Residents have the option to provide online budget testimony here; residents are reminded that internet testimony is considered public information and, as such, is subject to the Maryland Public Information Act
