2024-2029 Howard County Hazard Mitigation Plan
This page is dedicated to the 2024-2029 Howard County Hazard Mitigation Plan (NHMP) maintenance process. The NHMP is reviewed annually and thoroughly updated every five years. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) also rigorously reviews the NHMP every five years after the update. The goal of this page is to provide access to the NHMP for the public, gather public input, and keep the public updated on any changes. This NHMP was approved and adopted by County Council on November 6, 2023, and it will expire on November 5, 2028.
