Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art indoor track facility at the County’s Department of Recreation & Parks Troy Park at Elkridge, during a kick-off event for this weekend’s The East Coast International Track and Field Showcase.

A Howard County construction project to repair an existing stormwater management pond located at 15036 Scottswood Court in Woodbine, is underway. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late January 2025.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Phase I of a Howard County project to make electrical and communication improvements to the Water Pumping Station at 4901 Edgar Road in Ellicott City, is underway. Weather permitting, the work is expected to be completed by late June.

The renewal ensures that North Laurel-Savage remains eligible for state programs and resources that support revitalization and community development.
