Howard County Department of Public Works to Host Public Meeting on Landing Road Sewer Extension Project
Howard County’s Department of Public Works’ (DPW) Utility Design Division will hold a public meeting on Tuesday, August 9th to present plans for a proposed project to install approximately 400 linear feet of sewer main along a portion of Landing Road in Elkridge, to connect the property at 5667 Landing Road to the County’s sewer system. The project is expected to begin in spring 2023.

Howard County Update on Wednesday’s Storm
Howard County Executive Calvin Ball today discussed the impact of Wednesday evening’s storm on Ellicott City and other regions in Howard County. Areas around Howard County experienced up to 2.5 inches of rainfall over a two-hour period, triggering multiple Flash Flood Warnings. The National Weather Service also issued a Tornado Warning for eastern Howard County.

The Howard County Human Rights Commission is now seeking nominations for its 2022 Jim Henson and Jean Toomer Individual, the Dr. Murray Simon Student, and the Colette Roberts Organization awards.
