A Howard County construction project to install 30,000-gallon fire suppression tank adjacent to 15959 Union Chapel Road, is expected to begin on or about Monday, November 7th. The project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic in the area and weather permitting, is expected to be completed by late November 2022.

Additionally, Howard County will be recognized for a major and effective Violent Crimes Reduction Initiative, which entailed a months-long effort that focused resources on criminal networks and street gangs and resulted in multiple arrests.

The County's Department of Public Works’ Stormwater Management Division will hold a public meeting on Monday, November 21st to present plans for a project to stabilize the stormwater outfall drainage along Stonehouse Drive in Ellicott City.
