Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball announced residents can apply for the $9.7 million in grant funding Howard County received from the U.S. Treasury for rent relief and utility assistance and $1.4 million in County funding to support a new foreclosure prevention program.
Howard County to Receive $63 Million from American Rescue Plan
Today, Howard County Executive Calvin Ball announced the County is expecting $63.1 million in federal relief funding from the American Rescue Plan Act passed by Congress and signed this afternoon by President Biden. Funding was allocated on a population basis and must be used by December 31, 2024.
