Thursday, June 15 / Noon to 2 p.m. / Bain 50+ Center / Register by May 31

World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) on June 15 serves as a call-to-action for individuals, organizations, and communities to raise awareness about elder abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.

Join André Lingham, Founder, Center for Elder Justice and Education, for an interactive presentation on financial exploitation using examples of cases from Howard County residents. A 30-minute Question & Answer session will follow the presentation. Free; refreshments served. Seating is limited; register now to reserve your seat.

If a vulnerable person in your family or an older adult in your community is being abused, neglected or exploited, call Adult Protective Services at 1-800-91-PREVENT (1-800-917-7383) immediately.
