Area Plan for Aging & Disability Services

We invite you to review and provide feedback on the Howard County Area Plan for Aging and Disability Services draft which outlines our goals, strategies, and priorities for supporting older adults, individuals with disabilities, and caregivers in our community over the next 4 years. Your input helps ensure the plan reflects the needs and voices of those we serve. The public review period will be open until through April 3.

Virtual 50+ Employment Expo

If you are an older adult seeking employment opportunities, register now to participate in Howard County's free Virtual 50+ Employment Expo on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

  • Open to all job seekers age 50 and older
  • Network, learn about topics important to your job search, and talk with local employers about their companies and job openings
  • Free registration required

Employers with at least three different job openings (other than home health care) are also encouraged to participate!

50+ Centers

Howard County has six 50+ Centers located throughout the County, each offering a welcoming space for older adults to connect, stay active, and engage in lifelong learning. These centers provide diverse programs, services, and social opportunities that support healthy and vibrant aging.
