AOP Awardee Recognition Ceremony for Employers
In celebration of National Apprenticeship Week, the Howard County Office of Workforce Development will recognize employers who created and hired new apprentices in 2025 through the Apprenticeship Opportunity Program Local Incentive.
County Executive Dr. Calvin Ball will present this recognition at 12:00 PM during the Youth Apprenticeship Spotlight & Interview Day on Tuesday, April 28, hosted by HCPSS.

Interactive Speed Mentoring for job seekers to connect with local employers and apprentices, learn what companies look for, participate in mock interviews, and get advice from career counselors.
Mentors will represent Skilled Trades, Electrical/Low Voltage, Education, Hospitality, Healthcare, and Government.
Open to youth, adults, and career changers.
