Join the Howard County Veterans Foundation and the Office of Veterans and Military Families on May 14 at 11 a.m. for the opening and dedication of the Howard County Veterans and Military Families Monument in Vivian C. “Millie” Bailey Park, 10275 Wincopin Circle in Columbia.
Presented in partnership with the Columbia Association, the event will honor the military service of Howard County men and women, and will feature speakers representing local and state organizations. After the dedication, enjoy a picnic-style lunch from Mission BBQ and dessert courtesy of the Howard County Chamber of Commerce.
