Harpers Farm Road will be resurfaced in 2026 and the Howard County Office of Transportation is evaluating changes within and around the roadway to improve safety and accommodations for all road users.
The project extent includes Harpers Farm Road between Cedar Lane and Little Patuxent Parkway, and will include the addition of:
- Newly resurfaced road asphalt
- Bike lane markings
- Segments of pathway and sidewalk
- Bike transition ramps
- Marked crosswalks
- Mid-block pedestrian crossing
- Applicable signage
