The Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) will be conducting its annual Consolidated Transportation Program (CTP) tour meeting for Howard County on Wednesday, October 22, at 6:00 PM in the Banneker Room at the George Howard Building
The Secretary of Transportation, along with representatives from MDOT’s business units, will present information about Maryland's six-year capital budget for transportation projects. The CTP encompasses capital projects that generally involve new, expanded, or significantly improved facilities or services. These projects could encompass planning, environmental studies, design, right-of-way acquisition, construction, or the procurement of essential equipment associated with the facility or service. The Draft MDOT Capital Program was released in September 2025 and will be the focal point for discussion during the meeting. The Draft CTP can be found at: Capital Programming - MDOT (maryland.gov)
