Howard County Recreation and Parks invites the public to attend a public meeting from 6:30-8:30 p.m. this Wednesday, July 15th to discuss the installation of Musco Dark Skies certified sports lighting on field #3 at Western Regional Park. The meeting will be held at the Gary J. Arthur Community Center, 2400 State Route 97 in Cooksville.
There will be a brief presentation on the project. After the presentation, the public is welcome to share their thoughts and ask questions.
These new lights will allow the Department of Recreation and Parks to host games, recreational leagues, and tournaments later into the evening and during cooler temperatures in the summer months.
A sign-language interpreter has been requested for the meeting.
