ORIGINAL RELEASE:
Howard County police are investigating a non-fatal shooting June 2 in Jessup in which one person was seriously injured.
At approximately 12:42 p.m., police responded to the Cedar Motel in the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard for a report of an adult male victim who had been shot. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center where he is listed in critical condition.
Preliminarily, police believe the shooting was not random. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-313-STOP or [email protected].
