Howard County police are investigating a non-fatal shooting this evening, May 30, in Columbia.
At approximately 7:10 p.m., police were called to the 6000 block of Foreland Garth for a report of shots fired. Officers located behind the Exxon gas station an adult male victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is listed in critical condition.
There is no suspect information at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call 911.
