Howard County police are investigating a fatal collision in Glenwood on March 20 in which one person was killed.
At approximately 4:28 p.m., a 2016 Toyota Highlander was traveling north on Route 97 past Rolling Hills Drive when it crossed into oncoming traffic for an unknown reason and struck a 2016 Nissan Rouge head-on.
In total, four people were transported to MedStar Montgomery Medical Center. Police were informed late Sunday night that the front passenger in the Toyota, 67-year-old Wei Chu Lam Wong of Eldersburg, was transferred to Washington Medical Center where she died. The other three people are not believed to have life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
