UPDATE (Nov. 22, 2023): Police located human remains Nov. 22 that are preliminarily believed to be those of Min Kim, 62, of Ellicott City, who was reported missing on May 29. The remains were discovered in Centennial Park in Ellicott City by a pedestrian, who notified police. Investigators believe the death did not involve foul play.

ORIGINAL RELEASE

Howard County police are asking for the public's help to locate an Ellicott City man whose unoccupied vehicle was found in Centennial Park on May 30.  
 
Min Kim, 62, was last seen by his family in his residence in the 3100 block of Pine Orchard Lane on the morning of May 28. When he left and could not be contacted, a family member became concerned for his well-being and reported him missing to police on May 29. Police located his vehicle in the park the morning of May 30 and officers and Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue personnel conducted an extensive search of the area but did not locate him. Police do not suspect foul play but continue to investigate. 
 
Kim is described as an Asian male, 5’6”, 160 pounds with black hair. Anyone who sees him or has information about his whereabouts should call 911.
