Howard County police are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing elderly woman from Columbia.
At approximately 4:50 p.m. on Jan. 13, 85-year-old Erlinda Caballes left her residence in the 10700 block of Bridlerein Terrace on foot. Her family contacted police when they were unable to locate her. Police are concerned for Caballes’ well-being because of age-related health issues and the cold weather.
Officers have searched the area extensively and checked local hospitals but have been unable to locate her.
Caballes is described as Asian female, 4-foot-9, 74 pounds. She was last seen wearing a bright blue winter coat and dark gray sweatpants with a white stripe. She does not have a cell phone nor any other belongings with her.
Anyone who may have seen her or has information should call 911.
