Join the next session of the Community Ambassador Program to learn about the valuable services provide by the Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks.
The Department of Recreation & Parks delivers recreation and leisure opportunities that improve the health and well-being of the community, and serves as stewards of the environment by managing, protecting, and conserving resources. The Department maintains over 10,000 acres and more than 50 developed parks; and offers approximately 7,000 programs (including leagues, classes and camps) each year. Volunteers provide ongoing support across programs, events, and park operations throughout the county. The parks also host local and national tournaments and events.
