The Howard County Health Department will offer FREE immunization events for children 18 and younger to get the following vaccines required for Howard County Public Schools:
- Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis) and MCV4 (Meningitis) vaccines, which are required for all students entering 7th grade.
- Varicella (Chickenpox) vaccine, two doses of which are required for students entering Kindergarten.
The following recommended vaccines will also be available:
- HPV (Human Papillomavirus)
- Meningococcal B (Meningitis)
- COVID-19
Before attending our clinics, remember:
• If your child needs other vaccines required for school, contact your healthcare provider now to make an appointment or call us for help.
• Bring a copy of your child’s immunization record and any notice received from your child’s school regarding overdue immunizations
