The Commission on Aging is holding a public meeting on October 26, 2026 to discuss community programs, upcoming events, current initiatives, and holding an election for Chair and Vice Chair.

   1. Office on Aging and Independence Report (6:35-6:50 pm): 
      1. Resource Guide
      2. Senior Citizen Hall of Fame Inductee
      3. Caregiver Support Program Update
      4. Age-Friendly & Dementia-Friendly
   2. Chair Report (6:50-7:05 pm):
      1. Update on advocacy policy issues highlighted in the last meeting
      2. Near term policy issues requiring consideration by the new County Executive and County Council

3. Old Business (7:05-7:25pm):

   1. By-laws update (Rules of Procedure) - Brittany Burch

4. New Business (7:25-8 pm)

   1. Proposed public policy activities of the Commission on Aging
      1. Creating a public policy committee
      2. Cooperation with other groups monitoring and responding to legislation
   2. Election for Chair and Vice Chair
