ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to repair the Willowood Pond stormwater management facility located behind 6347 to 6333 Arbor Way in Elkridge, is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, January 5, 2026. The project includes replacing the existing principal spillway and riser structure with a concrete principal spillway pipe and riser, as well as grading work to the pond. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by mid to late August 2026.
Signs will be posted in the project area to alert residents of the construction work, which is expected to take place Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and corresponding closures. During the project, the sidewalk between 6347 and 6351 Arbor Way will be closed and parking restrictions will be in place near the construction entrance next to 6351 Arbor Way.
