ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball is currently seeking applicants interested in filling two openings on the Public Works Board to support the plans and policies of the Department of Public Works. The deadline to apply is Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

Public Works is responsible for reliable and accessible infrastructure for our community. This group’s recommendations related to the County’s public works policies and practices help ensure that we are providing needed services in the most effective way possible. I encourage County residents to apply who are interested in our roads, water and sewer service, trash and recycling operations, or various engineering projects.
