ELLICOTT CITY, MD – CSX Transportation will begin maintenance on the railroad crossing at Marriottsville Road at the Howard/Carroll County line in Marriottsville, starting around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 6th. While the crossing is closed, traffic will detour via Marriottsville Road, Granite Road, MD 125, Woodstock Road and MD 99. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by 4:00 p.m. on Friday, December 9th.
Variable message boards and signs will be posted to alert the public of the project and corresponding road closure. Additionally, a recorded message at 410-313-4400 will carry details and updates.
