ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County project to resurface Centre Park Drive, Columbia 100 Parkway and Executive Park Drive in Columbia, is expected to begin on or about Monday, May 10th. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by the end of May.

Two-way traffic will be maintained at all times throughout the area; however, delays should be expected during work hours, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Additionally, while driveways and parking lot entrances will not be closed or blocked for extended periods of time, minor disruptions can be expected. Finally, on-street parking in the area will be restricted during the project. Signs have been posted in the area to alert motorists and residents and businesses in the area of the work.

While the County and its transportation partners work hard to maintain safe traffic mobility in work zones, drivers are reminded to stay alert and look for reduced speed limits, narrow driving lanes and highway workers. Please slow down and don’t follow too closely when traveling through a work zone. Remember, work zone safety is in your hands.
