ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County’s Department of Public Works’ (DPW) Stormwater Management Division will hold a virtual public meeting on Wednesday, April 27th starting at 6:30 p.m., to discuss plans to replace the principal spillway of an existing pond west of 8242 Preston Court in Jessup. The project is expected to begin in early September 2022.

The informal meeting will include an overview of the design for this pond improvement project, followed by an open discussion. County staff and the project’s design consultant will be on hand to answer any questions and gather public comments. The project is funded through the County’s Watershed Protection and Restoration Fund.
