ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County is leading the state in vaccination rates with 85.4% of 12+ residents fully vaccinated, 66.8% of 18+ residents boosted, and 87.4% of 12-17 year olds fully vaccinated, according to the Maryland Department of Health.

Our team has worked incredibly hard with the community to get our residents vaccinated across all ages and demographics. As we see our cases declining from the latest surge, now is an important reminder to our community to get vaccinated and boosted if they haven’t already. The single most effective way to reduce your chance of hospitalization or even death from COVID-19 is to get vaccinated.
