ELLICOTT CITY, MD – Howard County Executive Calvin Ball is seeking applicants from District 1 interested in serving on the Howard County Board of Education. This opening follows the Howard County Public School System’s announcement that Christina Delmont-Small has decided to step down from her position as a Board of Education member effective immediately. The deadline to apply for this vacancy is Friday, February 10th.

To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be Howard County residents residing in Councilmanic District 1, 18 years of age or older, have an interest in public education, and be able to attend the Board’s meetings, public hearings and work sessions.
