ELLICOTT CITY, MD – A Howard County construction project to stabilize a public sewer near 9170 Hitching Post Lane in Laurel, is underway. To protect an existing eight-inch sewer exposed in the stream, stream bed and bank stabilization structures will be installed. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by early September.
The project is not expected to impact the flow of traffic; however, signs have been posted near the project area to advise motorists and pedestrians of the project.
