ELLICOTT CITY, MD – An urgent Howard County sewer repair project near 9955 Old Mill Road in Ellicott City is expected to begin on or about this Monday, August 5, at 7:00 a.m. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 10.
 
During the project, a portion of Old Mill Road just south of Hidden Haven Court will be closed to thru traffic. Motorists will follow a clearly marked detour using Gudel Drive, Old Frederick Road and McKenzie Road. Variable message boards and signs will be posted to alert motorists of the road closure and detour. Additionally, a recorded message at 410-313-3638 will carry details and updates regarding the project.
